In simple words: Different smart device requires different charging technology, PowerIQ is Anker’s answer to all smart device charging problem, it auto detects your device type and power it up as original charger.
Ever wonder why your smartphone charges faster from some charging ports and slower from others? Often, it’s not just the power that your charger can offer. Instead, it comes down to compatibility. Some ports simply don’t speak the right language to open up your device to full speed charging. Try plugging an IOS device into an Android adapter and your charge time could double.
Our solution? PowerIQ technology communicates with any connected device by speaking its unique charging language. Each port intelligently identifies your device and adapts to its specific recharge rate. So thanks to powerIQ, together with Anker’s industry-leading output, you can enjoy maximum compatibility that doesn’t limit your charging speed.
2. What is VoltageBoostTM

QC 2.0 quick charge is only useful for devices that supports this technology. In other words, if your device does not support QC 2.0 quick charge function, it is useless.(QC 2.0 quick charge requires 9V output voltage, not 5V)
4. What does it have to do with power (Watt)?
Most smart devices are charged at 5V voltage.
40W/5V=8A; 60W/5V=12A; Higher power=Higher total output
Power matters when you are charging multiple devices simultaneously that requires high output, such as tablets.
5. What are the key factors to determine charging speed?
Quality charging port/adapter + Original/certified charging cable + Auto detection of smart device type
Even different Android devices speak different charging languages, choose Anker with PowerIQ to ensure that you get best and most convenient charging solution for all your devices.
